Hosting and servers
How much does hosting cost?
It depends on what has to be online: a simple website needs far less server than a system your whole team uses every day. The quote tells you how much it is per month or per year, with the domain, the certificate, backups and updates.
Can you move my site or system from another host?
Yes. We check where it lives today and whose name the domain is in, and plan the move so it spends as little time offline as possible. If your email uses the same domain, we take it into account so it keeps arriving.
Can you look after a site you didn't build?
It depends on how it's built. We review it first and tell you what it needs to be secure and up to date, before quoting.
What's an SSL certificate, and do I need one?
It's what puts the padlock next to the address and protects what's sent through your page, like a form or a payment. Without it, the browser marks your page as not secure. We install it and renew it before it expires.
What happens if the domain expires?
While we look after it, we renew it before it expires. An expired domain takes down the website and any email using that address, and getting it back can be expensive or impossible.

How we work
Who builds it?
Our team. And the person you talk to is the person who builds your software: you explain your business directly to whoever writes the code, with no go-between.
Where do you work from?
From Venezuela. We talk by WhatsApp, email or video, in English or Spanish, so we work with businesses wherever they are.
Do I have to change how I work?
No. We build it around how your business already works.
When do I see it working?
At every stage. We build in short stages and show you screens that already work, with your real products and prices, so the course can change in time.

Can you build just a website?
Yes. A project doesn't have to be big: a simple website is as welcome as a full system.
Do you build large systems?
Yes. RUSH runs a whole factory, Termotronic: sales, banks, stock, production, imports and tax books, in dollars and bolívares. PrintCo runs a print shop's quotes, production and stock.
Can you bring over the data from my old system?
Yes. We move it into the new system so you don't start from zero: RUSH began by reading twenty years of invoices out of a DOS program.
Security and support
Is my information safe?
The database is backed up automatically every day. Each employee signs in with their own user and permissions, and the system records who did what.
Whose data is it?
Yours. Whenever you ask for it, we hand it over complete.
Can you hand over the source code?
Yes, if you want it: we quote it separately. Our model is to build your system and then keep looking after it as an ongoing service (the server, the database, updates and fixes), so the code isn't part of the usual price. And if we ever stop working on your system, we hand you the code so it can keep running.
What if something fails?
We look after the server, the database and the system, and keep them up to date. If something fails on our side, it's the first thing we attend to.
What happens after launch?
We launch it and stay with your team while they learn it on real orders. After that we're still here for fixes and the next round of improvements.
